Edmonton police are asking for the public’s help in tracking down a vehicle and driver believed to have been involved in a hit and run collision on Rabbit Hill Road on Sunday night.

At about 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, it’s believed a vehicle travelling northbound on Rabbit Hill Road collided with a male pedestrian in the crosswalk at Hodgson Boulevard.

Witnesses told investigators the vehicle was last seen driving away from the scene, northbound on Rabbit Hill Road, after colliding with the pedestrian.

The 46-year-old man was treated on the scene by paramedics, and rushed to hospital. At last word, he was in critical condition with multiple injuries.

The vehicle involved in the collision is believed to be a small sedan, white or silver in colour.
