RCMP officers are investigating a woman’s death on the Samson Cree Nation town site.
Police say a woman was found with “obvious signs of trauma” inside a home around 10 a.m. Saturday.
The woman’s death, which Mounties believe is criminal in nature, is being investigated by the Maskwacis RCMP, General Investigation Section, and K Division Major Crimes North.
Maskwacis is about 95 kilometres south of Edmonton.
