Police west of Edmonton are on the lookout for a man believed to have orchestrated a number of break ins in the area – who’s also wanted on Alberta-wide warrants.

Spruce Grove/Stony Plain RCMP are searching for Kenneth Forbes, 42, who police said was wanted on a number of charges – issued by a number of RCMP detachments, along with the Edmonton Police Service.

Police said Forbes is wanted on Alberta-wide warrants for three charges of break and enter, and one count of vehicle theft.

It’s believed Forbes has been actively evading arrest, and police are concerned as it appears he is still actively breaking and entering.

A number of break and enters have been reported in the Spruce Grove/Stony Plain areas during the day, on acreages and rural subdivisions.

According to police, in many of these break and enters, the suspect ringing the doorbell, and if someone answers, the suspect says he is a Jehovah’s Witness, interested in buying the house, or asking for directions.
