The Edmonton Project

The Edmonton Project offered the chance for Edmontonians to submit their ideas for something that could become a permanent attraction in the city. Now, the hundreds of submissions received have been whittled down to nine, and CTV News is getting a closer look at those ideas.

Members of the public can vote on their favourite submission online until January 31, 2018.

The finalists will pitch their ideas at an event March 6, 2018.

<b>Winter River Pavilions</b></br>

<br><b>Proposal:</b> To construct a series of buildings in the river valley to serve a variety of uses, such as providing shelters for people to warm up in to facilities featuring programs and services.</br>
<br><b>What:</b> Portable buildings, “creating activated winter hubs.”</br>
<br><b>Where:</b> Throughout the North Saskatchewan River trail network.</br>
