ContactBorn and raised in Edmonton, Marek Tkach began his reporting career in Northern B.C. with stops in Terrace and Prince George along the way.
He most recently spent four years covering news and sports in Winnipeg.
Some of his career highlights include covering back-to-back Grey Cup championships for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and sitting down with the likes of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh, Wayne Gretzky and Connor McDavid.
Outside of work, you can find Marek managing one of his many fantasy football teams or trying to achieve his lifelong goal of visiting all 30 MLB ballparks.
