A motorcyclist is dead after colliding against a vehicle in Leduc Friday afternoon.
Mounties responded to a collision in the area of 7126 Sparrow Drive at 1:33 p.m.
Police said a Yamaha motorcycle headed southbound on Sparrow Drive hit a vehicle turning left out of the Fountain Tire on Sparrow Drive.
The driver of the motorcycle was pinned underneath the car, RCMP said. The man was transported to an Edmonton area hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Leduc RCMP are investigating the collision. Speed and alcohol are not considered to be factors.
The name of the deceased will not be released.
