Two Edmonton area nurses who recently went to Haiti and witnessed the devastation left behind by the recent earthquake are raising money to provide shelter for Haitians.

Rhonda Tomlinson and Jenny O'Dwyer have launched the Tent Campaign for Haiti, collecting money and raising awareness about the lack of housing in Haiti.

The two were inspired to help after travelling to Haiti and witnessing the devastation first hand.

"What we saw was horrifying," said Tomlinson. "These people are living in makeshift tents…and because it's rain season now, it's just absolute torrential downpour."

The two nurses are hoping to raise $20,000. For more information click here.
