A woman from Ponoka has died after she was ejected from her vehicle during a collision on Highway 53.
RCMP said the incident happened around 6:15 a.m. Sunday about three kilometres east of the town.
Officials believe a GMC Envoy was heading west on the Highway when it lost control and slid into the ditch, rolling several times.
Emergency personal found the 35-year-old driver dead upon arrival.
Her name has not been released.
Investigators have been trying to determine the cause of the collision.
