Cornwall, Ont. police have arrested a 17-year-old boy who allegedly threatened and sexually assaulted his girlfriend.
Police say in a news release the incidents allegedly occurred during the summer of 2023. Police were later contacted and an investigation began.
The teen was located by Cornwall police on Friday and he was taken into custody on one charge of uttering threats to cause bodily harm and two counts of sexual assault.
The suspect was held for a bail hearing.
His name was not released as per provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
