EDMONTON -- A piece of equipment as long as a football field and as tall as a telephone pole is now on its way to north of Fort McMurray.
The oversized load left south Edmonton on Sunday night at 10 p.m.
The convoy transporting the 96-metre-long pressure evaporator – used to treat water for oilsands steam generators – is expected to arrive at the site on Saturday, Feb. 1.
