It might be February, but it didn't stop Edmontonians from taking to one city patio on Sunday to enjoy the warm weather.

Patrons enjoyed brunch outside at The Next Act Pub in Old Strathcona.

The patio is open year-round, but the rising temperatures led to an increase in diners who wanted to take advantage of the outdoor seating.

"It was probably at least -20, -25 and there was at least two people that sat out there that day," recalled manager Robyn Juniper. "Not when it was -40, -50. No one wanted to go outside; we didn't even offer it."

Next week could see multiple days above 0.
