A woman is in hospital after being struck by a chain reaction crash involving a police car.
The EPS vehicle was headed west on 118 Avenue, Monday evening, when it collided with another vehicle at 97 Street.
Police say the civilian vehicle spun around and hit a pedestrian. The woman's injuries were not considered life-threatening.
Investigators are not saying if the police cruiser had its emergency lights activated at the time of the collision.
