The Community Safety and Well-Being Task Force released a 68-page report Wednesday that makes recommendations it says would make Edmonton safer for all.
Edmonton police are investigating after a man was found dead in a park in the city’s northeast Monday morning.
Investigators were called to Hermitage Park at about 6:30 a.m. Monday, after it was reported the body of a man had been found there.
Officers arrived to find the body of a man in his 30s, with no obvious signs of injury.
According to police, it’s not clear at what time the man died, so the death is being treated as suspicious – and the EPS Homicide Unit is investigating.
An autopsy is expected, but has not yet been scheduled.
Anyone with information that could assist in the investigation is asked to call the Edmonton Police Service non-emergency line at 780-423-4567 or #377 on a mobile phone.
