Edmonton police are investigating after a man was found dead in a park in the city’s northeast Monday morning.

Investigators were called to Hermitage Park at about 6:30 a.m. Monday, after it was reported the body of a man had been found there.

Officers arrived to find the body of a man in his 30s, with no obvious signs of injury.

According to police, it’s not clear at what time the man died, so the death is being treated as suspicious – and the EPS Homicide Unit is investigating.

An autopsy is expected, but has not yet been scheduled.
