Edmonton police are investigating after a young girl reported that a stranger approached her near her school.
The incident took place near Belvedere School in northeast Edmonton over the lunch hour.
It’s alleged a five-year-old girl was approached by a man who offered her candy, in the area of 133 Avenue and 62 A Street.
Police said the girl ran to the school, and told the principal.
Officers are looking for the man, it’s not clear if this incident was an attempted abduction.
The little girl wasn’t harmed.
