Edmonton police released a photo of the suspect vehicle involved in a north Edmonton hit-and-run that sent a man to the hospital with life-threatening injuries Thursday night.
A 40-year-old man was struck while crossing a marked crosswalk at 82 Street and 128A Avenue at approximately 8:10 p.m., EPS said.
The vehicle — headed south on 82 Street —did not stop and fled the area.
A member of the public followed the vehicle and provided the following description to police:
- White 2011 Ford F250 Super Duty pickup truck with a long box with construction bars in the box
- License plate BDC 1081
- Front end damage as a result of hitting the pedestrian
- Letter decals that read “backrack” on the back of the vehicle
- Tinted windows
- Covered in white/grey dust
