RCMP in Red Deer are investigating their first homicide of the year.
Officers responded to a disturbance complaint at 5:35 a.m. January 1 in the 3700 block of 50 Street.
Police found a man in his late teens or early 20’s had died.
It is alleged that the man had been shot.
K Division’s major crime unit has been called in to help with the investigation.
