RCMP have issued a warning about a high risk sex offender that has been released from the Grande Cache Institution.
Officials said Keegan Spearchief was released on Friday, January 17 after having served a two-year, 10-month sentence for violent offences.
Spearchief was convicted of assault with a weapon, assault causing bodily harm, voyeurism and sexual assault with a weapon, among others.
He has been described as a 28-year-old Aboriginal man, about 190 pounds, 6’5 tall with brown eyes and brown hair.
Police said they believe that there is a risk of harm to the public, in particular, women.
