Police in Fort McMurray are trying to identify a motorcycle rider who has been the subject of a number of dangerous driving complaints in the city since March.

According to police, Wood Buffalo RCMP have received several complaints regarding the motorcycle rider driving dangerously – complaints included speeding, evading police, disregarding a stopped school bus with red lights activated, stunting and apparent disregard for pedestrians and other drivers.

In an attempt to identify the driver, RCMP released images of the rider in question on a Fort McMurray street, along with pictures of the helmet and the motorcycle.

The motorcycle is described as a yellow Suzuki GXR750, the licence plate is not visible.

The operator is described as:

  • Caucasian male
  • With a sleeve-style tattoo on left arm, with red and black ink
  • Tattoo featuring script writing on right outer forearm
  • Seen wearing a grey or silver helmet, with a large star on the side
