The city’s first parking ban of the season came to an end Sunday night.

The city says its roadway maintenance crews have completed work on residential bus routes and a seasonal parking ban put into effect on Friday, was lifted at 6 p.m. Sunday.

Neighbourhood blading will begin 7 a.m. Monday.

Although there will be no parking ban in effect, residents are asked to move their vehicles off-street whenever possible so crews may blade from curb to curb.

Crews will be blading snow on neighbourhood roads down to level snow pack of less than 5 c.m.

On the first day of the seasonal parking ban, more than 200 tickets were issued for vehicles still parked on residential bus routes.
