Five young children have been taken to hospital in Fort McMurray after an unknown substance was spilt in an apartment.
RCMP said they were called to assist the local fire department in evacuating one floor of the apartment building at 81 Fraser Avenue around 3 p.m. Sunday.
The children were said to be suffering from the effects of the spill but their condition is now known.
Officials continue to investigate.
