Edmonton police said a 21-year-old man was facing charges in connection to a weekend homicide near Fox Drive.

On Saturday, October 22, officers were called to the area of the Alfred H. Savage Centre near Fox Drive at about 8:30 p.m. – they arrived to find a deceased male.

An autopsy confirmed Christopher Fawcett, 19, died as a result of stab wounds.

On Wednesday, police said Connor James Miller, 21, had been charged in connection to his death. He faces charges of second degree murder, possession of a weapon, assaulting a peace officer and resisting arrest.
