Teen in hospital after collision on Highway 28

One man is in hospital after a collision near Smoky Lake.
Officials said a 17-year-old man from Waskatenau was taken to the Royal Alexandra hospital via STARS Air Ambulance Sunday afternoon.
The man was said to be in critical condition after his west bound vehicle hit the front of an east bound snowplow.
Police said the collision happened around 11:30 a.m. on Highway 28, one kilometer west of Smoky Lake.
RCMP said speed and road conditions were factors.
Smoky Lake is about one hour northeast of Edmonton.
