Two of the three suspects wanted in connection to a shooting that left a man in hospital, are in custody.

Officers said two men in their twenties were apprehended in Sherwood Park by Edmonton Police on Wednesday.

Both men are facing several charges, 27-year-old Jeff Bullee has been charged with aggravated assault, robbery, forcible confinement, disguise with intent use of firearm in commission of offence and possession of break and enter tools.

The other man charged, 23-year-old Carlin Zeigler, is facing similar charges, along with robbery with a firearm, and discharge of firearm with intent.

The charges stem from an incident Tuesday evening.

Police were called to an apartment complex near 114 Street and 41 Avenue after an injured male was reported at around 6:30 p.m.

The 31-year-old victim was taken to hospital with a gunshot wound to in his leg.

Two suspects were seen fleeing the scene, and a third suspect was thought to be hiding in a suite of the apartment building.

Police locked down the apartment for several hours, and tactical officers entered the suite at about 1 a.m., and found it empty.

The identity of the third suspect has not been released.

Police are still investigating the incident.
