The brother of a 23-year-old woman who was killed in an LRT station, execution-style took the stand in Colton Ferguson's first-degree murder trial Wednesday.

On the second day of the trial, surveillance video of the shooting, along with the altercation leading up to it, were played in court.

Travis Thurier, told court his sister, Heather Rae Thurier, approached a man at the Stadium LRT Station asking for a cigarette. Thurier says the man flashed a gang sign and said, "Do u know who I am and what I could do to you?"

Heather apparently threw some spare change from her hand and onto the floor. Travis told court that's when her tone changed. He then saw the man pull out a sawed-off rifle from his backpack.

Travis Thurier testified he became worried telling his sister they should go home that he was scared. Travis also told court how his sister confronted her killer and didn't appear to be frightened. Then moments later, she was shot in head. Her brother chased the shooter. And when Travis couldn't catch-up, he went back into the Stadium LRT Station where to find his sister lying on the ground, still in a pool of blood.

Testimony continues Thursday. The trial is expected to continue for two weeks.
