After four decades as the voice of the Edmonton Eskimos, radio announcer Bryan Hall called his last game on Sunday.
Hall has been with the Eskimos in some capacity since 1954, but he became the radio voice of the team in 1965. He has been with the team every year, except for two which he spent in Toronto.
Fans say they are going to miss the familiar voice.
"It's like a loss of tradition," said Colette Parent. "It's going to be totally different."
Others say no one else can really replace the radio legend.
"There never will be anyone else like him with a voice like his or his excitement...or his wide range of emotions that he does," said Eskimos fan Susan Christenson.
Hall was part of the Edmonton Eskimos organization for 13 Grey Cup wins.
