Papa Murphy's Rules

OFFICIAL RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. The Papa Murphy’s “PIZZA EACH MONTH FOR A YEAR” contest (the “Contest”) starts at 12:00 am Mountain Time (“MT”) on November 30, 2015 and closes on December 4, 2015 at 11:59 pm MT (the “Contest Period”).


2. The Contest sponsor is Bell Media Inc. (hereinafter referred to as the “Contest Sponsor”).


3. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. To enter, watch CTV on the local cable or satellite channel in your area each day during the Contest Period to view a commercial that includes the Contest Word (the “Contest Word”). Once you have a Contest Word, there are two (2) ways to enter the Contest, as follows:


a. Text Message: To enter via text message, send a text message that includes the Contest Word during the Contest Period to short code “103030” (each, a “Text Entry”). Text messaging is not available in all areas. Standard text messaging and short code fees apply (consult with your carrier applicable fees before participating via text message).


OR


b. Email: To enter via email, send an email that includes your phone number, mailing address, full name and email address and the Contest Word during the Contest Period to edmontoncontests@ctv.ca (each, an “Email Entry”).


Collectively, Text Entries and Email Entries will be referred to as “Entries”. By submitting an Entry, you agree to be legally bound by these Official Rules and Regulations (the “Rules”). Limit of one (1) Entry per person/telephone number per day of the Contest Period. If it is discovered by the Contest Sponsor (using any evidence or other information made available to or otherwise discovered by the Sponsor) that any person has attempted to: (i) exceed any of the limits stated in these Rules; and/or (ii) use multiple names, identities, email addresses, telephone numbers and/or any automated, macro, script, robotic or other system(s) or program(s) to enter or otherwise participate in or to disrupt this Contest; then he/she may be disqualified from the Contest in the sole and absolute discretion of the Contest Sponsor. Your Entry may be rejected if (in the sole and absolute discretion of the Contest Sponsor) it is not fully completed with all required information and submitted and received in accordance with these Rules during the Contest Period. The Released Parties (defined below) are not responsible for late, lost, misdirected, delayed, incomplete or incompatible Entries (all of which are void). All Entries are subject to verification at any time and for any reason. The Contest Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to require proof of identity and/or eligibility (in a form acceptable to the Sponsor – including, without limitation, government issued photo identification): (i) for the purposes of verifying an individual’s eligibility to participate in this Contest; (ii) for the purposes of verifying the eligibility and/or legitimacy of any Entry or other information entered (or purportedly entered) for the purposes of this Contest; and/or (iii) for any other reason the Contest Sponsor deems necessary, in its sole and absolute discretion, for the purposes of administering this Contest in accordance with these Rules. Failure to provide such proof to the complete satisfaction of the Contest Sponsor within the timeline specified by the Contest Sponsor may result in disqualification in the sole and absolute discretion of the Contest Sponsor. The sole determinant of the time for the purposes of this Contest will be the Contest server machine(s).


Text Entries shall be deemed to be submitted by the Authorized Mobile Account Holder of the mobile phone used to enter the Contest. “Authorized Mobile Account Holder" of a mobile phone is defined as the natural person who is assigned to a cellular telephone number by a wireless carrier that is responsible for assigning cellular telephone numbers. An eligible Prize winner may be required to provide proof that he/she the Authorized Mobile Account Holder associated with the selected Text Entry. Email Entries shall be deemed to be submitted by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry. “Authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an internet access provider, on-line service provider, or other organization (e.g. business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.


4. No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited. Limit of one (1) Prize (defined below) per person/household/email address/telephone number.


5. To enter and to be eligible to win, entrant must be a legal resident of Alberta, residing north of the southern boundary of Red Deer County, and be eighteen (18) years of age or older. Employees and their parents, siblings and children, and persons domiciled with an employee of the Contest Sponsor, its agents, parent, affiliated or related companies, subsidiaries, divisions, prize sponsor, promotional and advertising agencies and/or administrators (collectively, the “Contest Parties”), are ineligible to enter.


6. Prizes – There is one (1) grand prize (the “Grand Prize”). The Grand Prize consists of :


a. Pizza Package: The winner will receive one (1) Pizza Package per month for twelve (12) consecutive months. Each Pizza Package will include: i) one (1) Large Signature Pizza; ii) one (1) two (2) Litre of Pop; and iii) one (1) side item of winner’s choice. Approximate retail value of all twelve Pizza Packages is $300 CDN. The Pizza Packages will be awarded in the form of a certificate that can be redeemed instore (the winner will be required to present the certificate each month in order to redeem/receive the monthly Pizza Package). The certificate will have a stamp verification done at each redemption (month) period. Certificate is valid from December 1, 2015 to November 30, 2016 (the first redemption month for the pizza package will be December 2015 and the last redemption month will be November 2016). If the winner does not redeem his/her certificate for one of these months, such Pizza Package will be forfeited and there will be no substitution provided.


b. Tickets: The winner will also receive two (2) tickets to an Edmonton Professional Hockey Game (at Rexall Place: 7424 118 Ave NW, Edmonton AB T5B 4M9). Approximate retail value of the tickets is $300 CDN. The date of the game and seat selection will be decided by the Contest Sponsor and Papa Murphy’s Canada in their sole and absolute discretion.


The Grand Prize has a total approximate retail value of $600 CDN.

There is one (1) secondary prize (the “Secondary Prize”). The Secondary Prize consists of: i) four (4) Large Signature Pizzas; ii) four (4) two (2) Litre of Pop; and iii) four (4) side items of winner’s choice. Total approximate retail value of the Secondary Prize is $100 CDN. The winner will receive a certificate that they redeem instore. The winner is required to present the certificate instore for redemption. The certificate will have a stamp verification done at the time of redemption. The certificate is valid from December 1, 2015 to November 30, 2015.


Each certificate is subject to the terms and conditions of the issuer and is only redeemable at the following Papa Murphy locations:

Collectively, the Grand Prize and Secondary Prize will be referred to as the “Prizes”. The Prizes must be accepted as awarded and are not transferable, assignable or convertible to cash (except as may be specifically permitted by the Contest Sponsor in its sole and absolute discretion). No substitutions except at Contest Sponsor’s option. The Contest Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to substitute any Prize or a component thereof with a prize of equal or greater retail value, including, without limitation, but at Contest Sponsor’s sole and absolute discretion, a cash award. All costs and expenses that are not indicate above as include in the applicable Prize are the winner’s sole responsibility.


7. On December 7, 2015, at approximately 2p.m. MT, a random draw for the Prizes will take place at Bell Media Inc., Edmonton, Alberta from among all eligible Entries received during the Contest Period. The first entrant drawn will be deemed the potential Grand Prize winner and the following entrant drawn will be deemed the potential Secondary Prize winner. The odds of winning a Prize will depend on the total number of eligible Entries received during the Contest Period. Bell Media Inc., acting reasonably, will attempt to contact the potential Prize winners to notify them they may have won a Prize by telephone within two (2) hours of the draw. In the event that a potential Prize winner does not answer the notification telephone call, such potential Prize winner will be disqualified and an alternate potential winner may be drawn at the Contest Sponsor’s sole and absolute discretion. Proof of identification must be provided upon request. In order to be declared a winner, each potential winner must first correctly answer, unaided, a time limited mathematical skill testing question administered by Bell Media Inc. Before being awarded a Prize, each potential winner will be required to sign and return within the time stipulated by the Contest Sponsor, a full release and indemnity form stating that, among other things, he/she has read and understood these official rules and regulations (“Rules”), grants all consents required, agrees to be available and to participate in publicity and/or promotions related to the Contest and/or the Contest Sponsor and/or similar matters, authorizes the Contest Sponsor to broadcast, publish, disseminate and otherwise use his/her name, city/town/village and province/territory of residence, photograph, likeness, sobriquet and voice, in connection with any promotion and/or publicity, and/or for general news, entertainment and/or information purposes at no additional compensation to the potential winner, beyond the awarding of or participation in the applicable Prize, accepts the applicable Prize as offered and releases the Contest Parties and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, agents and assigns (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any and all liability of any kind arising out of the potential winner’s participation in this Contest and receipt and use of the applicable Prize. In the event that a potential winner does not comply with all the provisions as contemplated in these Rules, Contest Sponsor shall have the right to disqualify such potential winner, and draw an alternate potential winner, and the Released Parties shall be fully and completely released and discharged from any liability or responsibility in this regard.


8. All decisions of the Contest Sponsor with respect to any aspect of this Contest, including without limitation the eligibility of entrants and Entries, are final and binding on all entrants in all matters as they relate to this Contest. By participating in this Contest, each entrant solicits all notification and potential winner confirmation electronic messages outlined in these Rules.


9. All Entries become property of Contest Sponsor who assumes no responsibility for garbled, lost, late, delayed, destroyed or misdirected Entries, mail, voice messages, e-mail or any computer errors or malfunctions. No correspondence will be entered into except with entrants requesting Rules by mail or requesting the names of the Prize winners (for which a self-addressed, postage paid envelope must be included). Contest Sponsor does not assume any responsibility for incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry information, technical malfunctions, human or technical error, seeding or printing errors, lost, delayed or garbled data or transmissions, omission, interruption, deletion, defect or failures of any telephone or computer line or network, computer equipment, software or any combination thereof. Entry materials or data that have been tampered with or altered are void. If for any reason, in the opinion of the Contest Sponsor, in its sole and absolute discretion, the Contest is not capable of running as originally planned, or if the administration, security, fairness, integrity or the proper conduct of the Contest is corrupted or adversely affected, including by reason of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other cause, Contest Sponsor reserves its right to cancel, terminate, modify, amend, extend or suspend the Contest, and/or select the winners from previously received eligible Entries. Contest Sponsor reserves its right to modify the Rules without materially affecting the terms and conditions hereof. The Contest Sponsor reserves its right in its sole and absolute discretion to disqualify any individual they find to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Contest or to be acting in violation of the Rules or otherwise in a disruptive manner. Any attempts to deliberately damage the Contest web site or to undermine the legitimate operation of this Contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made the Contest Sponsor reserves its right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent of the law. Contest Sponsor shall not be held responsible for any errors or negligence that may arise or occur in connection with the Contest including any damage to an entrant’s computer equipment, system, software or any combination thereof, as a result of their participation in this Contest or from downloading any material from the Contest web site. Without limiting the generality of the forgoing, the Contest Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to administer an alternate test of skill as it deems appropriate based on the circumstances and/or to comply with applicable law. If due to printing, production, online, internet, computer, telecommunication or other error of any kind, more Prizes are claimed than intended to be distributed or awarded according to these Rules at any prizing level, then, in addition to having the right to terminate the Contest immediately, the Contest Sponsor reserve the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to rescind invalid prize claims and to conduct a random draw from amongst all eligible prize claimants in order to award the correct number of Prizes at the applicable prizing level(s). In no event will the Released Parties be liable for more than the number of Prizes as stated in these Rules at any prizing level.


10. Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations. By entering this Contest each entrant consents to the collection, use and distribution of his or her personal information (information that identifies an entrant as an individual, such as home telephone number, age and home address) by the Contest Sponsor for the purposes of implementing, administering and fulfilling this Contest. Contest Sponsor will not sell or transmit this information to third parties except for the purposes of administering this Contest. By entering the Contest, entrants consent to the manner of collection, use and disclosure of personal information as set out in Bell Media Inc.'s Privacy Policy, which is available at bellmedia.ca/about/Media_Privacy.page. Any inquiry concerning the personal information held by the Contest Sponsor should be addressed to Bell Media Inc. at 18520 – Stony Plain Road Edmonton, AB T5S 1A8.


11. In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the terms and conditions of the Rules and disclosures or other statements contained in any Contest related materials, including but not limited to point of sale, television, print or online advertising, the terms and conditions of the Rules shall prevail, govern and control.


12. All intellectual property, including but not limited to trade-marks, trade-names, logos, designs, promotional materials, web pages, source codes, drawings, illustrations, slogans and representations are owned by the Contest Sponsor and/or its affiliates. All rights are reserved. Unauthorized copying or use of any copyrighted material or intellectual property without the express written consent of its owner is strictly prohibited.
