A second person has been arrested in connection with an armed robbery at the Blackfalds 7-Eleven.

The man is one of two suspected masked robbers who held up the convenience store with a shotgun on Nov. 11.

The 21-year-old Red Deer resident is facing five charges, including robbery with a firearm and disguise with intent.

He was scheduled to appear at Alberta Court of Justice in Red Deer in court on Thursday.

RCMP said the Scream masks used in the robbery and a BB gun were also recovered.

In December, a 19-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the robbery.

No other suspects are being sought in the investigation.
