Body found after suspicious fire south of Edmonton: RCMP
The body of a man was found after a house fire in Wetaskiwin over the weekend.
Firefighters were called to a house fire at 53 Avenue and 45 Street in that city at 5:12 a.m. on Sunday.
The house was destroyed by the blaze.
The body was found by fire investigators, who turned the investigation over to RCMP.
An autopsy has been scheduled for Wednesday.
Police say the fire is believed to be deliberately set, adding a person was seen running from the house with portions of their clothes on fire.
