Edmonton police said Thursday that an Edmonton man had been arrested and charged in connection to the death of a woman in February, 2015.
Police said Ryan Matchee, 33, was arrested Thursday in Edmonton, and has been charged with second-degree murder.
His arrest came after Lena Steinhauer, 24, was found dead in a downtown apartment on February 9.
Steinhauer’s death was confirmed to be Edmonton’s second homicide of the year.
The accused is in custody, his first court appearance has not been set.
