Edmonton residents spend Victoria Day at Victoria Park

EDMONTON -- Some Edmontonians spent Victoria Day enjoying the weather in the park also named after the English queen.

Victoria Park was named in hounour of Queen Victoria. With mostly sunny skies, it was a popular destination for residents on the holiday Monday.

Located on the north bank of the North Saskatchewan River, Victoria Park opened back in 1914.
