RCMP have identified human skeletal remains found on a rural property east of Leduc as belonging to Delores Brower, last seen alive in 2004.
Brower was 33-years-old when she went missing. Involved in the sex trade, she was last seen by police attempting to get a ride on 118 Avenue in Edmonton on May 13, 2004.
Brower's remains and the human remains of two other individuals, including those of Amber Tuccaro found in 2012, and of another individual in 2003 were all found in the same area, and are part of ongoing RCMP investigations.
Brower's family issued a statement through RCMP say they are grateful to have some closure, but acknowledge that there are many families who have yet to find the answers they are seeking.
The Brower family asked that anybody with information about Delores or other individuals involved in a high-risk lifestyle who've been reported missing to please contact KARE or Crime Stoppers.
