The City of Edmonton will lift the Phase 1 parking ban on Monday at 5 p.m.

The parking ban began on Dec. 19 after heavy snowfall throughout the city.

City crews and contractors have since cleared snow from arterial roads, collector roads, bus routes, pathways and roads within business districts.

According to the city, there are no plans to initiate a Phase 2 parking ban for residential and industrial roads.

The City of Edmonton encourages residents to report winter roads concerns by calling 3-1-1.

Edmontonians can sign up for parking ban notifications as well as other snow and ice related information around the city by visiting edmonton.ca/SafeTravels.
