Edmonton police are asking for the public’s help in locating a woman who hasn’t been seen in the city since the beginning of the year.
Police said they are searching for Marie ‘Toni’ Carlson-Hill, 31, who was last seen on February 15, 2012.
A family member reported her missing on September 3.
“The investigation has reached a stage where we are now turning to the public for help,” Const. Jim Gurney with the Missing Persons Unit said in a press release.
According to police, Carlson-Hill has been known to travel outside of the province, but the lack of contact for this length of time is considered out of character.
Investigators believe at the time she disappeared, she was known to frequent the 107 Avenue area of downtown Edmonton.
Anyone with information on Carlson-Hill’s whereabouts is asked to call the Edmonton Police Service non-emergency line at 780-423-4567 or #377 from a mobile phone, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
