Police west of Edmonton are investigating, after a single-vehicle collision left one individual dead Tuesday afternoon.
Spruce Grove/Stony Plain RCMP said officers were called to the collision on Highway 16 westbound, on the northbound exit ramp to Highway 44 at about 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Officers said it appeared the motorcycle had veered onto the exit ramp, and lost control of the vehicle.
The driver succumbed on the scene to injuries sustained in the crash.
The exit ramp was shut down for several hours Tuesday as officers investigated.
