Northern Alberta RCMP are asking for help from residents in tracking down an elderly couple, and their vehicle, last seen Sunday afternoon.
Police said they’re on the lookout for Neil Holmes, 84, and his wife Pearl, 80.
The couple was last seen at their Valleyview home on 49 Avenue and 48 Street at about 4:30 p.m. Sunday by family.
According to police Neil suffers from dementia, and has become lost in the past, police said he’s been turned around while driving.
The couple’s 2011 black Dodge Caravan with the Alberta license plate TCT 842 is also missing.
RCMP are asking residents of Valleyview and the surrounding area to check back roads, field entrances, empty farm sites and any other remote areas the couple could have ended up.
Foul play isn’t suspected, but police are treating the situation as an emergency due to Neil Holmes’ health concerns.
