The Venue at River Cree Resort was permanently and abruptly closed Wednesday night following an engineering report.
The concert facility was closed following an engineering study that found the structure outside of current building codes.
In a posting on the River Cree website, management apologize for the inconvenience and say they are making "every effort to ensure the experience is as seamless and painless as possible."
The closure of the facility affects all upcoming shows including those with comedians Amy Schumer, Tim Allen and Martin Short, and musical guests Lynyrd Skynryd, Chad Brownlee and Weird Al Yankovic.
Officials at the casino on the Enoch Cree Nation reserve say upcoming events will either be relocated, re-scheduled, or refunded.
River Cree Resort is expected to provide an update on the status of immediate and future events Friday morning.
