Safeway windows smashed by vandal Saturday morning

The Edmonton Police Service is investigating after a person smashed dozens of windows at a south side Safeway.
According to police, around 4:30 a.m. Saturday, a person approached the Southgate Mall Safeway and began smashing windows. They then fled on foot.
It appears more than 40 windows were smashed in the incident.
No one in the store reported any injuries to police.
