Signed Ricky Ray jersey raises more than $2K for local woman with cancer

EDMONTON -- A jersey signed by Ricky Ray has raised $2,800 in an online auction this weekend.

• A deaf-blind man is donating his signed Ricky Ray jersey to help a woman with Stage 4 cancer

The jersey was donated by a Ryan King, who is blind and deaf, to support a former classmate who is battling cancer.

King went to high school with Shayla Wishloff, who is fighting Stage 4 lung cancer, after fighting breast cancer last year.
