EDMONTON -- Crews responded to Canada Place around 5 p.m. on Sunday after thick black smoke was seen coming from the roof of the building.
A backup generator on the roof of the building was malfunctioning, which produced a lot of smoke.
There was no fire, just smoke.
No injuries were reported.
