Edmonton police said three people have been charged after officers executed a search warrant at a business Wednesday.

Police said a man and a woman were arrested Wednesday, March 30, after officers with the EPS Downtown Division searched a business in the area of 93 Street and 111 Avenue.

Inside, investigators found and seized a variety of drugs including 862 grams (1.9 lbs) of methamphetamine, with an approximate street value of $86,780, 186 Diluadid pills, with an approximate value of $5,580, 74 Oxy-Codone pills, valued at about $2,220, and 52 Ritalin pills valued at about $1,560.

Investigators also found and seized $8,615 in Canadian currency, along with drug trafficking paraphernalia including scales, packaging and mobile phones.

Three people have been charged in connection to that search warrant:

  • Abudullah Shah (aka Carmen Pervez), 53, is facing five counts each of possession for the purpose of trafficking, and breach of recognizance, along with a charge of possession of stolen property
  • Sarah Fassman, 36, is facing four counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking and a charge of possession of stolen property
  • Jennifer Vuong, 57, has been charged with four counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking and a charge of possession of stolen property
