Two Wetaskiwin schools saved from closure

Two elementary schools in Wetaskiwin on the chopping block due to low enrollment will stay open. 

The Wetaskiwin Public School Board was considering combining Pipestone and Lakedell Elementary Schools into Falun Elementary School, but after an emotional public meeting on Tuesday night, the board reconsidered.
