Edmonton police have identified the man who was shot and killed late Wednesday evening on the north side.
Officers in the EPS Northwest Division were called to a multi-unit residential building on 112 Avenue and 94 Street Wednesday, September 13, just before 6 p.m.
They arrived to find a male deceased on the floor of a common area in the building.
The Homicide Unit was called in to investigate.
On Thursday, detectives identified the deceased as Nexhmi “Nick” Nuhi, 76. Police said it appeared he had died from a gun-shot wound.
Police said an autopsy in this case had been scheduled for Friday.
