Family members and friends of an Edmonton man who went missing seven years ago held a vigil Sunday night.
“We’re here to pray that maybe someday, somehow, we’ll have answers,” said Dylan Koshman's mother Melanie Alix.
21-year-old Koshman was last seen by his roommates walking away from his home in the area of 104 Street and 33 Avenue just after 2:00 a.m. on October 11, 2008.
Koshman allegedly had been drinking and got into an argument with his roommates before being asked to leave.
Since his disappearance, there has been no answer on his cell phone and no activity on his bank account.
“My family is struggling. Just because seven years has gone by doesn’t mean that we don’t feel the pain. In some ways it’s worse. With no answers we can’t really say goodbye to him,” said Alix.
“Until we get those answers, we’ll just keep searching.”
Anyone with information is asked to call the Edmonton Police Service at 780-423-4567 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
“I would beg you to come forward because we have suffered long enough,” said Alix. “We just want some closure, so we can have some peace in our lives.”
