A woman is in hospital after a stabbing in south Edmonton on Friday afternoon.
Police were called to a home in the area of 35 avenue and 21 street where a woman was found with multiple stab wounds. She was transported to hospital in serious condition.
Investigators do not know if the woman was stabbed inside or outside of the home, but they believe that the stabbing was not a random incident. Blood could be seen on the driveway, and a parked vehicle just shortly after the incident.
The investigation continues.
