Ripple Creek Farm brand ham has been recalled due to possible Listeria contamination.

According to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency, the product affected was the Hickory Smoked Spiral Sliced Ham with a best before date of 2014 Feb 13.

The meat was sold in British Columbia and Alberta.

There have been no illnesses associated with the product but the Overwaitera Food Group has recalled it due to possible contamination.

NUT RECALL

The Produce People Ltd has recalled Sunkist Blends brand Chocolate Banana & Mango Premium Fruit & Nuts because it contains pistachios and hazelnuts not declared on the label.

The 198 g bags have the UPC 0 52679 56043 9.

CFIA is conducting a food safety investigation, which it said may lead to the recall of other products.
