Two of the four people charged in connection with an armed robbery at an Edmonton pawn shop last year have been sentenced.

Waylon Tourangeau and Courtney Lemke pleaded guilty on Monday to charges stemming from a search warrant executed in connection with the robbery.

Four masked people entered the Cash Canada store at 92 Street and 34 Avenue on Jan. 10, 2023.

Employees and customers were seen lying on the floor while masked thieves smashed cases and took jewelry in security video from the robbery.

No one was injured.

Tourangeau was sentenced to nearly three years for a firearms offence.

Lemke was handed a sentence of just over a year for possession of meth.

With time served, the pair has completed their sentences.

Two other people, Nicole Lussier and Dean Carlton, had been charged in the robbery.

Charges against Lussier have been stayed, Carlton is still awaiting trial.
