Edmonton police are asking for the public’s help in tracking down a man believed to have shot a man who succumbed to his injuries days later.
EPS Homicide Detectives said Thursday that Canada-wide warrants had been issued for Kalab Abberra Kitil, 22, for charges of second degree murder and four additional firearms-related charges.
Kitil is described as:
- Black male
- 6’3” (190 cm) tall
- 196 lbs (89 kg)
- Black hair
- Brown eyes
Police said he’s believed to be armed and dangerous, and should not be approached – if anyone sees him, they’re asked to call police at once.
Kitil’s charges stem from the death of Sultanbek Abdymamat Uulu, 22. He died Wednesday morning in hospital, after he was injured in an apparent drive-by shooting on the city’s north side Monday.
An autopsy was conducted Thursday, the Medical Examiner determined he died as a result of a gunshot wound.
