Cineplex Entertainment is set to open the first three multi-screen panoramic cinemas across Canada in Toronto, Vancouver and Edmonton this July.
The Barco Escape theatre features one screen in the front surrounded by two extra side screens to provide 270 degrees of viewable space.
The Edmonton location will be at the Scotiabank theaters at West Edmonton Mall.
Cineplex is aiming to open the Barco Escape Theaters for the premier of the latest Star Trek movie on July 22.
