Man, 20, charged in central Edmonton homicide

A 20-year-old man has been charged in a September homicide.

Kellen Lee Carr-Mandrusiak was charged with second-degree murder in the death of 30-year-old Brandon Lee Cardinal on Sept. 14.

Pedestrians called police after they found an injured man in the area of 100 Street and 91 Avenue near Nellie McClung Park.

Cardinal died on scene.

He was shot, an autopsy found, and his death was ruled a homicide.
